Personal Background
As a designer, I’m passionate about understanding diverse cultures and human behavior, which deeply influence my approach to creating thoughtful, impactful solutions. I find inspiration in photography, immersing myself in different cultural contexts, and exploring the ways people interact with their environments. Whether hiking in nature, crafting intricate wooden models of historic ships, or delving into books on communication and psychology, my personal interests continuously shape my perspective on design. These experiences enable me to approach challenges with empathy and a focus on meaningful, lasting impact.

CX By Design
Philips Health Systems

CX Strategy | A novel methodology to map complex customer experiences in healthcare
In this project, we revolutionized healthcare customer experience (CX) by placing healthcare professionals and patients at the center. Through the CX by Design initiative, we developed a unique approach to uncover unspoken needs, creating scalable solutions to enhance CX across all touchpoints. As project co-lead, I guided our team in identifying high-impact improvements within Philips, aiming to drive measurable, positive changes for healthcare providers and patients worldwide.

Philips Move
Philips Personal Health

Service Design | Circular product subscription service
In partnership with Philips, I developed a sustainable subscription service that enhances user value and drives revenue while repurposing products within a circular economy. Using a life cycle blueprint and customer personas, I integrated market insights and cost analyses to create a viable, scalable model. I also designed storyboards and visuals to simplify the complex business model, making sustainable solutions both accessible and appealing.

Market Analysis
Johnson & Johnson

Journey Mapping | Healthcare situation analysis in Europe
We conducted an in-depth analysis of the European healthcare environment to identify new business and innovation opportunities. Our team immersed ourselves in the daily routines of doctors and nurses, analyzing patient journeys from wards to surgeries and recovery, looking for problems and opportunities for improvement. We created a 3D model of a rural hospital to visualize interactions, stress points, and system inefficiencies, presenting actionable insights to drive meaningful healthcare innovations.

Vivalytic Up
Bosch

Industrial & UI Design | Scaling solution for POC PCR analyzer
As part of a multidisciplinary agile team, I led the development of an accessory for the Vivalytic molecular diagnostics system, allowing it to scale for multi-slot use. We created a hardware accessory and software adjustments to ensure the system could operate in multiple slots without compromising its sensitive measurement processes. I worked closely with UI design and engineering to ensure the accessory enhanced the system’s functionality, making it a more versatile tool for molecular diagnostics.

Mobility Vision 2030
Jeep

UX & Transportation Design | Autonomous driving in a sharing economy
In this project, I explored UX design opportunities for fully autonomous, shareable vehicles in a 2030 sharing economy with Jeep USA. I reimagined Jeep's brand DNA to create new user values for a world where users rent rather than own self-driving vehicles. Using VR simulations, I tested spatial dimensions and user comfort, aligning the virtual model with the user experience. Mood boards were developed to capture the Jeep brand aesthetics and adapt them to a future autonomous landscape.

Male Grooming Design Study
Braun

Industrial Design | Next gen male grooming trend exploration
As part of a co-op with Johnson & Johnson, I developed a new beard trimmer for Braun, focusing on evolving user needs and trends while respecting the brand's heritage. I identified areas for improvement through thorough market analysis and developed a solution that simplified the user experience, focusing on functionality and ease of use. Using CAD, I created a ready-for-production solution, including an inductive magnetic wall mount and a streamlined design.
